Gogebic
Taconite has brought in safety guards armed with semi-automatic rifles, at
drilling site in northern Wisconsin’s Pahokee Range.
“It’s
just safety etiquette, it’s what we do” one of the guards can be heard saying
in by a News
from Indian Country.
The protector
provides small sequence regarding the company he works for, but Wisconsin
Public Radio reported that the guards have “Bullet Proof Securities”
on their vehicles and arm patches. That firm’s website said it’s based out of
Scottsdale, Arizona.

a July 15 raid at a drill site by 18 masked populace which resulted in $2,500
in smash up, and five illegal charges against one person, are cause sufficient
to hire refuge.
Gogebic
has begin test drilling for a contentious, planned open pit iron ore mine in
Iron and Ashland Counties.
