Training for Equipped and Unprotected Safety Protector


In order to become an unequipped safety officer or safety Protector in the state of Maryland, there are a few least requirements which must be met first.
Anyone who wishes to be licensed as an unequipped safety Protector must meet and continue the following experience:

·        The candidate applying must be at least 18 years of age.
·        The candidate must be a citizen or legal local of the United States; proof will need to be provided.
·        The candidate must not have any felony convictions.
·        The candidate will have an FBI style background check.
·        Fingerprints and 2 passports sized colored photos of the applicant’s head and shoulders are necessary.
·        An exactly completed relevance form is a must.
·        Checks or cash orders shall be made owed to the Maryland State Police.

Anyone who wishes to be licensed as an equipped safety Protector in the state of Maryland, must be at least 21 years old, go through a training course that includes fire arms training and investigative techniques, and meet the same qualifications as an unequipped safety Protector with the following exceptions:

·        There are prior prosecution that will prevent an character in the state of Maryland from official acknowledgment and employment as an prepared safety Protector and they are:
·        Criminal offense prosecutions which include illegal offenses of physical violence such as abduction, arson, robbery, house-breaking, kidnapping, wrongful death and homicide.
