PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS:

The following measurement methods are intended to provide a sound basis for assessing the performance of the jobholder in this position. Although numerous methods are listed as suggested measurements the supervisor may elect to select only specific ones based on the need of the company at any point in time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:
• A minimum of 2 years experience in the security field.
• A minimum of 1 years experience working in the Security Department at the AT&T Center.
• Must be 18 years of age and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a Level 2 Security License and Certification for the State of Texas, required while in position.
• Able to Lift, Push, Pull and/or Carry 25 or more pounds as needed.
• Must be able to work long hours, flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays while on call.
• Hours may vary due to event scheduling, with no more than 29 hours per week, as needed. 
• Must possess good verbal and written communication and team building skills. 
• Must be a self starter, with initiative and exceptional, sound decision making skills.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods, navigating stairs in extreme conditions for the duration of assigned shift. 
• Must have reliable transportation and possess the ability to meet dress standards. As a representative of Spurs Sports & Entertainment, dress standards are highly reflective of our brand.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Must be 18 years of age at time of hire.
• Just be able to clear an extensive background screening.
• Must be able to lift, pull, push and/or carry 25 pounds as necessary.
• Must have the ability to walk and stand for long periods of time, along with navigate through stairways during a standard shift.
• Must have the physical ability to patrol both inside and outside of the AT&T Center Arena during all seasons of the year and possible extreme weather conditions.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
• 1 year of entertainment industry experience.
• Bilingual
• CPR Certification/ Basic First Aid preferred.
• Knowledge of law enforcement or experience in the entertainment industry, security, military or law enforcement preferred.
CONTINUING EDUCATION:
• The person in this position will be expected to attend company, security and safety training as it relates to the Security functions and components of the AT&T Center. 
• The person in this position will be required to stay up to date with training in security equipment, surveillance equipment, alarms, and emergency procedures for life safety, and fire protection.
