Establishment on Wednesday arrested four people on
drug possession charges, including an equipped safety officer for UPMC.
Shawn Fitzpatrick, 50, of Overbrook, was arrested
in Swissvale and charged with heroin ownership. Fitzpatrick was driving a gold
Chevrolet with three passengers when police experimental a drug contract among
one of the passengers and a pedestrian. Police blocked the car and found drugs
and drug paraphernalia, a bullet-resistant vest and knives inside. Fitzpatrick
is a security officer for UPMC and was in full consistent when the drug business
deal took place.
Fitzpatrick told police he group the others to revisit
stolen belongings to Home Depot and Lowes in Monroeville and to the National Gold
swap over pawn shop in North Versailles to swap Lowes and Home Depot gift cards
for $100 cash. They then used the hard cash to buy the heroin.
All three passengers will be charged with ownership
of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and illegal scheme.
