Police in Seattle say an equipped man
who was shot Monday night by a safety guard in the city's middle District has
died.
Detectives are
interviewing witnesses and the safety protector. It's uncertain whether the protector
wills visage any charges.
Police say a beginning
examination indicates the protector tried to smash up a fight involving a collection
of men in a business parking lot, asking the men to go away. A police spokesman
says one man pulled a handgun and began waving it at the others, then pointed
the gun just before the safety guard.
Police say the protector
felt threatened and shot the man who had pulled the gun. The rest of the men
ran off previous to officers inwards.
