A Beale road safety guard is after bars blamed of stabbing a man within
the Pepsi Pavilion Wednesday night.
Patrice Jones was in prison following police say she ran from the park
and throw the blade down a drain grate on Beale.
The 31-year-old told police she stabbed the man following they got into a
quarrel and he choked her.
At least four spectators say they saw the two fighting.
Two of the witnesses, including a fellow safety guard, say they saw the
victim come at Jones right ahead of she stabbed him in the belly.
Police are hoping video from the Real Time Crime middle will show them accurately
what happened.
Jones told police she stabbed the man with a pouch blade she establish within
the Pepsi Pavilion at 235 Beale.
Performa Entertainment hires all safety guards down Beale. We
wanted to be familiar with if safety guards are allowed to carry weapons, but
so far the company has not returned our calls.
The victim is listed in serious circumstance at the MED.
